Spence Cabin Wedding in the Smoky Mountains
Amanda and Kaleb’s Spence Cabin wedding in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park is full of everything we love about fall – crisp golden leaves, a cool breeze, rich autumn colors, and a happy couple! Their Smoky Mountains wedding was on October 26, and it was just the right time for their outdoor ceremony on the bank of the Little River in Elkmont.
This sweet couple had an intimate wedding with their closest friends and families. Her bridesmaids wore cranberry gowns, and his groomsmen wore dress pants with white shirts and suspenders. The arch over the Spence Cabin patio was donned with greenery, moss, and flowers, and their families watched as they said “I do” with the sound of the Little River flowing behind them. Chaplain Fred Patterson officiated their personalized and memorable wedding ceremony.
Congratulations to the newlyweds Amanda & Kaleb!

Located in the Elkmont Historic District of the national park, Spence Cabin was built in 1928. Today, in it’s restored state, it’s a pink cabin with green shutters tucked away in the forest of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. One of our favorite venues in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park is Spence Cabin in Elkmont. It’s perfect for intimate weddings and elopements, and it’s on the bank of the Little River. The Appalachian Clubhouse is great for receptions too, and it’s located in Elkmont as well. With a quick 2-minute drive between the cabin and the clubhouse, many couples choose to reserve both venues for their wedding day. You can reserve them online at the following links: Spence Cabin, and Appalachian Clubhouse.
