The Press Room Wedding – Downtown Knoxville

Olivia and Daniel’s wedding at Graystone Presbyterian and reception at The Press Room in downtown Knoxville was full of all the things a winter wedding should have – a classy bride with a timeless gown with sleeves, a rich bouquet with cranberry accents, an amazing live band with non-stop dancing and singing, and the happiest couple laughing together all day!

When Olivia first contacted us about their wedding, she said “Daniel and I met in 2012 at UT’s Boxing Weekend. He is from Memphis, and I am from Knoxville. We began dating a little over a year later, and shortly thereafter, I moved to Memphis to attend law school. We got engaged this past Thanksgiving, at the beach with my family.”

From the beach to getting married in downtown Knoxville in January, their timeless wedding was one that every classy bride would envy. The bridesmaids were in black gowns accented with bouquets full of greenery, white, and pops of cranberry. Olivia had a winter fur wrap that she wore outside that added to the wintery romantic feel of their urban wedding. Daniel had a navy jacket with black lapels, and we loved his style of mixing navy with black!

After their ceremony at Graystone Prebyterian, everyone partied the night away with a live band at he Press Room. With hundreds of twinkling lights, not a single person was sitting down after dinner. The dance floor was packed!

One of Knoxville newest downtown wedding venues, The Press Room is a renovated historic site in the heart of downtown on Broadway near the Fourth & Gill neighborhood. With hundreds of square feet of space and twinkling cafe lights, The Press Room can accommodate up to 600 guests. With in house catering by Cafe 4, a private bridal suite, lounge, courtyard, and heated and air conditioned indoor spaces, the venue has ample space and opportunities for weddings, receptions, and events.
